Origins & Now

Tidal Rhythm Organic Farm was established on the Eastern Shore of Virginia to celebrate the connection between land and water while positively impacting the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.

A 12-acre vineyard was transitioned to organic practices while the "lawn" around the vineyard was turned into vegetable and fruit production. The farm received Organic certification in 2025.

Crops that thrive in coastal climates fill the fields along with others that are regionally adapted through yearly seed saving.

The farm is inspired by Tom Culton (9/8/80 - 8/20/25) who usually had a pocket full of seeds. His brilliance and lived joy remain in the landscape as vibrantly colored artichokes and scattered quartz from his family farm holding intentions for the land.

This project is continued forward by his partner Alicia and a beautiful community of people who've helped on the farm and from a distance in honor of the way he chose to live life. Thank you for your support and partaking in the celebration of the beauty of the life we live on earth together.
